Daryl Blackmon is the Principal/Sr. Financial Consultant of Safe Harbour Benefit Solutions. His main purpose in business is simply to help people succeed financially. He passionately accomplishes this mission through close work with his clients to achieve their financial goals.

Daryl’s agency assists clients throughout the country with a primary focus in Georgia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. Throughout his 20-year career he has enjoyed the pleasure of educating and helping over 3,000 individuals and families strategically plan in the areas of wealth accumulation, wealth protection, and wealth distribution. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army National Guard.

Daryl has extensive experience helping small business owners develop exit strategy and provide employee benefits including tax-deductible pensions, executive compensation, key person insurance, 401(k) plans, health coverage, and group life benefits.

Daryl is also a professionally trained Federal Benefits instructor/counselor and FINRA-recognized Federal Retirement Consultant. For the past 13 years he has specialized in federal employee benefits. In April 2010 he was featured in the Internal Revenue Service’s Wage & Investment newsletter for conducting his first 100+ attendee benefits workshop. Since then, he has conducted over 900 financial presentations, lunch and learns, workshops, and webinars.

Daryl has helped hundreds of federal employees throughout the country from various agencies and organizations including the Atlanta VA Hospital, U.S. Secret Service, USDA, GSA, IRS, CDC, Walter Reed Institute of Research, NTEU, Blacks in Government (BIG), USFW, DOE, the FBI, and others.

He has also been featured in Atlanta Good Life magazine, appeared on the Antonio Smith talk radio show, the Jay Springs radio show, and in various other forums, panels, and online formats. Daryl is the host of the weekly Safe Money Radio Show, airing each Saturday at 3pm on 1380 WAOK in Atlanta, Georgia. His financial writing has been featured in magazines and newsletters, and he is a frequently requested financial and inspirational speaker and trainer.

When Daryl isn’t helping others reach their financial goals, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, and serving in the ministry.

Adrienne Simmons is the Vice President of Business Development of Safe Harbour Benefit Solutions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and is a professionally trained Federal Benefits counselor and presenter.

Adrienne enjoys helping people reach their professional and financial potential. During her 17-year career, she has been responsible for helping high school students attain $2 million in scholarships, training a wide range of college students in securing internships and careers within Fortune 500 business, accounting, and banking institutions, and advising key executives on structuring their internship programs.

Over the last 10 years, Adrienne has brought her passion for helping people to the federal market, where she consults federal personnel in various agencies regarding their employee benefits and assists them in attaining their retirement goals. She is a subject matter expert on federal employee benefits.

Her client base consists of employees from various federal agencies and organizations including the Atlanta VA Hospital, USDA, GSA, IRS, CDC, National Nurses Union, NTEU, Blacks in Government (BIG), EPA, FAA, and others.

Adrienne enjoys spending her spare time with family, traveling, and serving in her local church.
