A Life Built Around Purpose and Service.

James has spent much of his life serving others, but his story is about far more than a career or title.

Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and raised in Norfolk, James was introduced early to service, responsibility and commitment as the son of a United States Navy serviceman. His family later relocated to Millington, Tennessee, when his father was transferred there by the Navy.

In 1981, James moved to Columbia. Middle Tennessee became home—the place where he would build his family, establish his career and dedicate decades of his life to helping others.

Home in Middle Tennessee James has called Columbia and the surrounding Middle Tennessee community home for more than four decades.
